Firstly, I would like to thank the outgoing president and his

committee for giving me the opportunity to represent this

club over the past two years as club captain.  I have been

fortunate enough over the years to represent this great club

as captain of the junior team (we won the private greens junior

cup that year) and of course as president in 2006 which

topped the lot.

To the players of all the teams - well done.  I believe the

improvement wasthere for all to see and I think next year if

the same improvement and commitment is shown we will be

there or therabouts when it comes to the end of the season.

The improvement shown by some of the new bowlers 

who were seen to practise as often as they could proved

worthwhile, so I say to all fellow bowlers practice makes perfect,

so give it a go.

To our president Gerry and John our vice-president, all the very

best for next year.

 A big thank you to Pat Butler for all the sterling work he has

done over many years.  I hope I am speaking for all fellow

bowlers when I say - Thank You Pat.
